Lech Wolski (Torun 9 IV 1948, lives in Torun) studied painting and art pedagogy at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. He received his diploma in 1974 and is currently a professor at his alma mater, where he runs a painting studio. He has had a number of solo exhibitions and has also participated in group exhibitions at home and abroad. In 2008, the Scientific Publishing House of the University of Krakow published an album dedicated to his work. His metaphorical paintings are undergoing constant evolution, and the signs and forms they create give his compositions ever new tensions and stimulate the imagination.
