She began her painting studies in 1926-1928 in Cracow
at the Free School of Painting, she continued briefly at the local
Academy under the direction of W. Jarocki, and then, in the years
1929-1932, at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where she attended the studio of
F. Kowarski. In 1931-1939, she was a member of the group "Prism."
with which she exhibited in the capital's IPS. She spent the years of the occupation together with
with her husband Juliusz Studnicki in Cracow. After the war, the Studnickis
settled on the Coast, becoming involved in the organization of the PWSSP
in Gdansk, where the artist taught drawing classes. She continued working

working since 1959 as an associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts
Fine Arts. The artist's work is part of the current of colorism and,
in a later period, abstractionism. The subjects of her works were mostly
importantly landscape, sometimes diversified with figural representations.
The artist participated in many exhibitions both at home and abroad.
