Biography
Studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts (now the Academy of Fine Arts) in Poznan from 1972 to 1977, where he defended his diploma with honors from the Lithography Studio under the direction of Professor Lucjan Mianowski. He completed an annex to his diploma in the illustration and poster studio of Prof. Waldemar Swierzy. In the 1980s he was involved in publishing graphics, posters, book illustration and painting. The year 1981 stopped him in accidental emigration in France. He lived in Paris until 1983. In his painting, he moves in the circle of widely understood urban themes. He is also interested in landscape, nature and man. He describes the surrounding reality using the language of poetic metaphor. In his works one can find references to pop - art, metaphorical realism or surrealism.
