Grzegorz Kufel is a painter and graphic artist by avocation and passion. You can meet him on the streets of cities and villages with a sketchbook, sometimes accompanied by his son - also with a sketchbook. He did not defend his diploma in the painting studio of Prof. Maciej Swieszewski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. Nor did he study at the St. George Academy of Fine Arts in Barcelona, although he would have liked to. He painted his first paintings in the 1990s.

He owes everything he has learned to himself, his persistence and courage. Somewhere in the formation of his artistic self, Picasso, Miró, Magritte, Basquiat, street art, punk, jazz (a long list could be written here) played a big role. He did not show at the Biennale of Modern Art in Moscow, Venice, or the 5th Piotrkow Art Biennale. He presented his works in a few places. It was neither New York nor London, nor Rzeszow, but this is subject to change....
