Dariusz Kamys
Dariusz Kamys - also known as Kamol - is a Polish cabaret actor, lyricist, director (the improvised series "Spadkobiercy"), co-founder of the cabarets POTEM, HiFi and Hrabi - with which he continues to work to this day.
On the periphery of professional-cabaret activity he plays with painting. He does not count on anything, he treats painting as a hobby, which unexpectedly, during the lockdown, took on a different dimension, began to become concrete.
The subject of his paintings is emotions. His characters feel, and since they feel they live. Although the paintings pulse with vivid colors there is, however, a lot of sadness and melancholy in them.
The author expresses in them the other, less familiar side of his nature. As an artist "without schools" he is not subject to any stylistics, he has created his own personal workshop. Being at the beginning of the road, he makes bold painting discoveries , moving quickly towards artistic maturity. This is a spiritual painting, acute in its message. Stamping on the viewer.
He enjoys painting and positive feedback, and most of all the fact that his paintings hang in the homes of his best friends. It hasn't yet happened that any of them carried Dariusz's painting out of the attic in a panic when he showed up unannounced for a visit. He is proud of the fact that the owner of one of his paintings is Tomasz Sętowski.
