b. 1964, Poznań He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, where he received a diploma in Painting in the studio of Prof. Andrzej Leśnik. His work includes easel painting and drawing. He sees painting as an uncompromising form of expression. When proceeding to create a painting, he prepares for a war in which he takes no "prisoners." The canvas becomes a pure field, which he covers with either strong colors or stays with ascetic forms. The artist is unable to predict the final result, as creation is for him an expedition into the unknown, while the journey never ends.
