Vase made from an artillery shell casing, 1917
Vase made from a brass artillery shell casing from the World War I period. Decorated with engraved inscriptions SOUVENIR 1919 and oak leaves. A classic example of WWI trench art.
On the bottom of the vase the markings of the shell used to create it (St GFSP 325 MAI 1917 Sp197).
Dimensions:
- height: 23 cm,
- base: 9 cm (diameter).
Very good condition (scuffs/dirt typical of the material used).
