Hand closed, brass frame. Tailpiece sigmoidal, disc-shaped, richly decorated. Long cap fixed in a ring at the hilt, top riveted with the headstock. Shank of black stock cross-notched. The steel hilt, with a slight curvature, profiled on both sides into a single furrow and a dimple furrow. The grind extends to a very short, double-edged feather with a bone. The staff is symmetrical. On the back the inscription: "Coulaux et Cie Klingenthal". P o c h w a s made of wooden shells, trimmed with black leather. Brass hardware. Neck with collar fixed with a screw on the scabbard sheath. On both sides appliqués in the form of an anchor and a movable spike on the back. Below, a second riffle. The scabbard ended with an asymmetrical spur with appliqué.
