Hand closed, brass frame. Straight, bowed yoke, with lower half-tracks. Long cap with cheekpieces fixed in a ring at the hilt, with the top riveted with the shaft of the head. Shank of black stock, cross-notched and filigreed. Cheeks attached to the handle with rivets. Nickel-plated steel hilt with a slight curvature. Profiled on both sides in a single groove reaching a long, double-edged feather. The hilt is squared. On the inner sill the manufacturer's mark "Eickhorn/Solingen". P o c h w a s metal, varnished black. Neck fixed in the scabbard sheath by two screws. One riffle with movable butt and antabka on the ring. Asymmetrical spur.
