Russian Model 1809 pistol manufactured in 1829.
Date of manufacture visible in several places on brass parts. Originally a rocket pistol, it was converted to a cap pistol during the period of modernization of the Russian army's armament after the Crimean War. A military conversion, there are stamped marks on the cock and lock with the letter A (Alexander II) visible. During the modernization of the gun the barrel was threaded.
On the side on the grip ferrule faintly visible, hand engraved name Dimchieg, the same signature is on the wood, you can see it after removing the barrel. Next to it another inscription in Russian (łuczit pa parkam).
The weapon was used until the 1870s. For collectors collecting memorabilia from the period of the January Uprising.
