Converted from a rock rifle for use by dragoons or mounted riflemen? Total length 116.5 cm. Barrel length 73 cm, with checkering 83,5 cm. Diameter 18 mm.
The barrel in very good condition, without cavities or other damage. On the pigtail there is a model designation: 1822. The cartridge chamber bears the number 134.
The lock is 16 cm long. On it the marking of the royal Charleville factory: Mre Rle de Charleville. In addition, the mark of the technical inspection: Letter T with an asterisk. Trace of a truncated and sealed pan.
The cock can be pulled back and adjusted to two positions. The spring is very strong.The rifle was converted in the era from a rock to a cap rifle by removing the pan and fixing the chimney for caps.The flask without damage or cavities.
An interesting feature is the unusual attachment of the dolbe stirrup to the belt. It is embedded in a clamp attached to the wood with screws. The rifle is in very good condition.
