Commemorative saber with eagle handle, made for General Galica. II RP.
Length of the saber without scabbard 92,5 cm
HEAD: length 79,5 cm. Three furrows, single-edged blade. On the amphibian a decoration in the form of oak leaves surrounding a crowned eagle and an inscription: TO HIS COMMANDER GENERAL ANDRZEJ GALICA ON THE DAY OF HIS BIRTH- OFFICERS OF THE 21. DP. WHITE.DN. 27/XI 1922.
On the second amphibian the monogram AG decorated with oak leaves. In addition, the maker's signature: G.BOROWSKI WARSAW.
HANDLE: closed with a single barrel, silver plated brass. Silver plating largely worn off.
Steelscabbard with remnants of nickel plating. Dented in several places.
