Steel head, with centrally drawn armor and a dimpled groove. Shield-scabbard hilt, in gilded bronze; rear arm ending in a dolphin's head; basket-shaped, openwork shield, with an anchor and vine motif interwoven with a ship's rope. The rope also wraps the bail. Ebonite handle, notched; bronze head, oval, with long braid. Scabbard covered with black leather, with three gilded fittings: neck with a catch - mushroom in the form of a shell, with an applied admiralty anchor with a barb; middle fitting - plain riffle, with a bray; smooth viscera ending in a decorative spur.
