Period-colored map of Asiatic Russiafrom F.A Garnier's (1803-1863) atlas, "Atlas Sphéroïdal et universel de géographie". A graduated cartouche in the upper left corner. An interesting feature of the map is "Russian America," i.e. Alaska still belonging to the Russian Empire at the time, before the 1867 sale.
Piece moderately well-preserved, clear colors, but traces of a tear on the left and right margins about 1 cm; otherwise flawless.
