Barbara Wroniszewska's paintings strongly manifest the need for artistic freedom. Expressive compositions, juicy with colors, transport the viewer into a space in which it is in vain to look for a limited horizon. From to, top to bottom in the artist's imagination does not exist. Schemes striving to classify, order, and what's more - to impose a certain only right pattern - have no right to exist. Barbara Wroniszewska extremely values this right to artistic individual expression of her emotions, experiences or perception of the world and human relations.
In the artist's paintings, which are often thoroughly abstract, the organic nature of the matter expressed in a pulsating network of lines, spilled spots of color (sometimes in bold juxtapositions) does not allow the viewer to be indifferent.
Emotions poured onto the canvas formed in a way that betrays the author's exceptional workshop dexterity and talent allow for a wide range of interpretations. On the one hand, metaphorical representations can claim the rank of a universal language of communication, on the other hand, thanks to their abstract form, they are open to associations and emotions of the viewer. Moreover, the artist does not cut herself off from reality here and now, relying only on the products of her imagination. Close to her are the dissonances and contradictions of the modern world, the tensions in interpersonal relations, she perceives fissures in the foundations of the social order. However, they seem not to frighten her on the contrary - they emphasize the organic, vitality of the world and man. Barbara Wroniszewska remains an optimist who believes in the goodness and wisdom of life itself. Her paintings, prints, art projects have grown up on the two pillars she herself mentions: truth and freedom, and are an important voice in the art space.
