26.5 x 32.8 cm - watercolor, paper watercolor, tempera, cardboard, 26.5 x 32.8 cm
signed p.d.: P. Marcie | Naziemska | Teod. Grott. 917
Provenance:
The painting, like two other Grott watercolors (items 14, 43), comes from the collection of the pianist, Marta Naziemska-Rawczyńska (1894-1983) from Cracow. Her portrait, painted by Leon Wyczółkowski, is displayed under item 16.
The owner of the painting was a friend of Leon Wyczółkowski. Probably through him, she met his best pupil - Teodor Grott, who made his dedication to her on the landscape.
