Karl Julius Rose(Königsbruck 1828 - Munich 1911) - who used the pseudonym Georg Carré or Carée and sometimes signed his paintings A[ntonio] Rose - was a German landscape painter, a pupil of Hummer. He painted, above all, atmospheric alpine landscapes.
