Kraków 1945, Polski Związek Piłki Nożnej, pp.96, form. 15 x 20, clean brochure binding, Polish Football Association round stamp on back of title page, numbered pieces.
An interesting publication for lovers of the history of Polish soccer. This is the first post-war edition of the "Football Regulations" compiled by the Referee Affairs Department of the Polish Football Association. Due to wartime destruction in Warsaw, the Polish Football Association was then headquartered in Krakow, Poland, and published this collection of soccer regulations there. In addition, one of the first pages bears the PZPN stamp of the time and a signed piece number (1976). The book provides information on soccer regulations in the form of questions and extensive answers and explanations. These include questions on the size of the field, the goal and goal area, the penalty area, the ball, the duration of the game, the selection of a goal, the scoring of a goal, a throw-in, a burnout, a kick from the goal, a foul, and scoring a goal from a penalty kick. In addition, the book discusses the rights and duties of a referee, and includes advice for referees officiating soccer matches (including how to line up and how to move on the field).
