A richly illustrated, detailed history of the January Uprising based on reliable source research and participants' accounts. The third edition was published through the efforts of K. Rzepecki, after the author's death, to commemorate him, as well as the heroes of the uprising who "grasped desperately for weapons to throw off the Moscow yoke." J. Dabrowski a.k.a. Grabiec (1876-1926), historian, publicist, political activist, during World War I affiliated with the NKN, after the rebirth of the Polish state, organizer of the military judiciary, judge of the Supreme Court, activist of Freemasonry. Luxurious publisher's binding: red fawn, linen on the faces with the image of the Eagle and titulature, protective case attached. Minor soiling of the binding, otherwise very good condition. An impressive piece.
