120x80, acrylic on canvas, 2022
Born 1964, Poznan
He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, where he received a diploma in Painting in the studio of Prof. Andrzej Leśnik. His work includes easel painting and drawing. He sees painting as an uncompromising form of expression. When proceeding to create a painting, he prepares for a war in which he takes no "prisoners." The canvas becomes a pure field, which he covers with either strong colors or stays with ascetic forms. The artist is unable to predict the final effect, as creation is for him an expedition into the unknown, while the wandering never has an end.
Dariusz Grajek's works can be found in Polish and foreign collections. He has exhibited his works in contemporary art galleries.
