"Je suis Charlie" bracelet by Michal Batory
A bracelet made of bronze, from the "Je suis Charlie" collection, inspired by the poster made by Michal Batory in response to the terrorist attack perpetrated on January 15, 2015 on the editorial office of the weekly Charlie Hebdo, famous for its satirical drawings. This collection is a tribute to the victims of the massacre at the Charlie Hebdo editorial office, but also to all those who face the darkness that threatens our world every day - violence, discrimination, bigotry, hatred. But it is also a message full of hope that ultimately good - art, culture, wisdom - will triumph over evil - violence and hatred.
Made of bronze, in tribute to the millennia-old artistic tradition of bronze sculpture, this pendant is a small work of art. It is also gold-plated (the bullet), plated with black ruthenium (the pencil) and decorated with a black Swarovski crystal at the end of the pencil.
Dimensions of the cross: 35 x 22 mm.
The pendant hangs on a black thong of max 11 cm in length, adjustable. Thong with red and yellow finish.
"Je suis Charlie" collection designed by Michel Batory for Galerie Roi Doré. Made in Paris.
