Biography
During World War II he was educated at the School of Drawing and Painting. After the war he worked at the Ministry of Defense Publishing House as a graphic designer. He illustrated many books. He specialized in military illustrations. In the late 1960s he was offered the opportunity to draw comic books. He prepared one notebook about the adventures of "Captain Wildcat", six notebooks of the "Underground Front" series. In 1970, the Sport and Tourism publishing house began work on the comic series "Captain Kloss." The script was directly based on the TV original and was written by the series' screenwriters - Andrzej Szypulski and Zbigniew Safjan. Through a competition, Mieczyslaw Wisniewski prepared the comic charts for this cult comic strip, despite a few differences he used the face of the main character played in the series - Stanislaw Mikulski. Mieczyslaw Wisniewski ended his career with the "Captain Kloss" series.
