From the author's introduction: "These drawings represent what I remember from the period when I was 5-12 years old. (...) There are some distortions, shifts and imbalances of proportions in these works. This is characteristic of a child's vision. (....)During childhood, an object, a person, a car, a house - these are not simply shapes of one kind or another, passed by indifferently. It's a sensing of shapes so profound as to be hyper-real."
