From the author's introduction: "It was dark, it was ugly, it was bad. (....) Shapes. Fascinating. Such a vegetable store in a pavilion. And the pavilion? A real Hades. Dark, crowded, smells rotten. (...) Or the wife of the director of some unification. Plump and paraded. She drove out of the garage every day in a large Fiat. (...) I felt - even as a little one - that this life is not easy. I saw tired people around me. (...) "
Wojciech Grabowski - a graduate of the Art Institute of the Pedagogical University in Cracow and the Screenwriting School of the Film School in Lodz. Draughtsman, writer, author of films about art made for TVP Kultura (including "Expressionism in Poland", "Journey with Rafal Malczewski", "Artes - surrealists from Lviv"). He made his debut in 2012 with a collection of short stories "Motorcycle Man." He subsequently published: "Archi-traf. Tales of Silesian and Zagłębie architecture", "Miastowidz. Tales from the Silesian Metropolis," "The Design of Those Times. "Here. Art and Space of Upper Silesia." In 2019 he created a series of illustrations for old Polish fantasy novellas, which were published in the anthology "Hair Screaming on the Head".Since 2020 he has been publishing bibliophilic books in numbered editions. So far they have been published: "O Grzesiu kłamczuchu i jego cioci" by Julian Tuwim, "Sen" by Antoni Lange, "Pani Twardowska" by Adam Mickiewicz. In 2022, a critical study of Aleksander Watt's poem "I from one side and I from the other side of my mopsozelazny piecyk" with his drawings was published by the University of Lodz Publishing House.
