Steel engraving print on an 8x6.5 cm sheet, on ribbed paper. Steel engraving made by the Agra Graphic Works in Paris at the turn of the 19th/20th century. Exlibris signed on the plate "Agry Gr-r". In the center of the composition, on a heraldic mantle lined with ermine, the family coat of arms of Prince Roman Sanguszko (the Pony of Lithuania under the Sanguszko family crown). Staining of the margin, staining on the reverse, folding of the sheet.
Roman Damian Sanguszko (1832-1917) - ordinate of Zaslavl, co-founder and owner of a library and archive, collector. He had a striking collection of artworks and an extensive library at his residence in Slavut (territories of present-day Ukraine in Volhynia). He was assassinated in his Slavut palace by Russian soldiers during the Russian Civil War, and the property belonging to the Sanguszkos for over four hundred years was burned.
