Graphic artist (dealt with woodcut and metal techniques) and educator. Studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Stefan Batory University in Vilnius and the Lithuanian Academy of Arts. He received his diploma in 1948. at the Faculty of Fine Arts of M. Copernicus University in Torun. After World War II, he lived in Gdynia. He exhibited frequently at home and abroad, including at the Biennale of Graphics in Cracow (1960, 1964), a solo exhibition in Sopot in 1962. The artist's works are in the collections of many Polish museums, including the National Museum in Warsaw and the Ossolineum in Wroclaw.
