Jerzy Dmitruk - was born on August 24, 1960 in Sepopol. Studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, diploma in the studio of Prof. Juliusz Joniak in 1986, and at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, diploma with distinction in the intaglio studio of Prof. Andrzej Pietsch. Holder of a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art and a scholarship from the Mayor of the City of Cracow. Works in painting, printmaking, illustration and book design. He realizes graphic series entitled. "Sower of fertility", "Landscape of fertility", "Life of a painter", "Mission", "Trees of revelation", "Home", "Garden of first love", "Florists", "Home gold and diamond mine", "Creative act", "Cracow-color of the city" and "Domesticated family of Wawel dragons". Implementation of book projects, including "Goodbye, to tomorrow" - poetry by Wislawa Szymborska, "When I meet you, what will I tell you?" - poetry by Miroslaw Czyzykiewicz, illustrations to the Holy Scriptures", "Explain to me, love" - poetry by Ingeborg Bachmann, "Elegies from the Tymowskie Mountains" - poetry by Jan Polkowski. Works in the collections of the National Museum in Cracow, the Silesian Museum in Katowice, the District Museum in Nowy Sącz, the Department of Culture and Art of the City of Cracow and in private collections at home and abroad.
