Frydman (Slovak: Fridman, Hungarian: Frigyesvágása, German: Friedmann), a village in Poland located in Malopolska province, Nowy Targ district, in the municipality of Łapsze Niżne. It is located in the geographical region of Kotlina Nowotarska and the historical-ethnographic region of Spisz, in the place where the Białka River flows into the Czorsztyn Reservoir. A Podtatrze village, it dates back to the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. In the market square is the early Gothic church of St. Stanislaus, with a unique tower topped by a late Renaissance attic and an octagonal chapel. Another monument is a castellum (defensive mansion) from 1585, built by the Hungarian rulers of the area, the Horwaths.
- St. Stanislaus the Bishop Church - the oldest monument of sacred architecture in Podtatrze. The early Gothic framework of the temple probably dates back to the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. Legends say that in the Frýdman church served mass to John III Sobieski returning through Zamagurze from Vienna.
- The castellum (traditionally), actually a storied brick defensive mansion typical of the Spiš region, built by George Horvath Palocsay in 1585-1590 as a rural residence of a defensive nature. Originally Renaissance: founded on a rectangular plan, with thick walls topped with an attic, with corner bays and turrets. Rebuilt around 1910. (at that time, among other things, the attic was removed). Currently privately owned, to be viewed only from the outside. (Wikipedia).
