Letter-scout mail from the 1944 Warsaw Uprising.
Folded letter, mailed on August 10. Postmark with a lily "HARCERS' POCZTA HARCERSKA" (Gryżewski - type 3). In addition, the stamp "fee paid" (type 32). Content: information about himself and questions about the health of loved ones. From the letter we learn that telephones functioned normally - "with my uncle we spoke by phone". The letter, due to communication, was "stuck" in Mokotow. It belongs to the undelivered batch, which lay in the rubble on Rakowiecka Street until January 1945. In the 1960s Polish Radio made an attempt to deliver them. This story is described in detail in Jerzy Kasprzak's book "Tropami powstańczej przesyłki". Guarantee: Korszeń.
