Gen. Boleslaw Kieniewicz kit, certificate and photograph (415)

Certificate of surrender of the commemorative pistol with which Captain Kieniewicz was awarded by the command of the 81st Rifle Division on the 15th anniversary of the Red Army. Dimensions 14 x 18,5 cm. Also included is a photo of Kieniewicz in a Polish general's uniform, 14 x 9 cm. Boleslaw Kieniewicz was born near Pinsk in 1907 and died in 1969 in Warsaw. He was an officer in the Red Army, a major general in the Polish Army and a member of parliament. He was deputy commander of the 1st Division of the Polish Army during the Battle of Lenino. In May 1945, he became commander of the KBW.
