Polish placard from 1917 announcing the transfer of power in the Kingdom of Poland to the newly formed Polish Regency Council. The decree was signed by the former German governor von Beseler. This is another step towards the restoration of Poland's independence in 1918. The placard measures 94 x 63 cm. Folded paper, but no tears or losses.
