[SOLSKI Ludwik]. Ludwik Solski's handwritten note regarding financial settlements, dated. 18 Aug. 1909.
Single-sided document on ark. 28x22.5 cm, next three pages blank. Handwritten accounting of 1,000 crowns spent on organizing the funeral of an unnamed person. The list includes, among other items: orchestra at the cemetery, carrying out instruments, dressing the catafalque, dressing the hearse with flowers. Under the list an illegible signature (Mycielski?). Below, a handwritten note by Ludwik Solski confirming the collection of bills and a passbook on behalf of Mr. Popielecki, bearing his signature and stamp as director of the municipal theater in Cracow.
L. Solski (1855-1954) - actor, director, from 1905 to 1913 director of the Municipal Theater in Krakow, pioneer in the realization of Russian repertoire on Polish theater stages, "one of the most outstanding actors in the history of theater in Poland" (Wikipedia).
