Three letters from the World War II years.
Three letters written by Zofia Kossak-Szczucka during World War II, addressed to Stefan Kaminski (2x) and to Aleksandra Mianowska. Written in pencil, two dated - 14 III and 9 IV [no annual date], two signed "Z. S.", one "Z", on it the return address: Czestochowa St. Barbara rectory, for Sikorska [thus written after the fall of the Warsaw Uprising]. In the contents, among other things, mention of arrival in Cracow, confirmation of receipt of money, a request for further funds, an encouragement to write down memories and an announcement to take action: Soon I will want to interest her in a certain large social action - but this can only be discussed in person and not yet today. Dimensions 29.5 x 21 cm (two pieces, content on one side) and 14.5 of 19 cm (two-sided content), folded, accompanied by an envelope with an old annotation: Letters of Mrs. Zofia Kossak-Szczucka.
