A nice, natural, healthy semi-taler with retained mint luster. Attractive for this hard-to-find denomination.
The second vintage of half-talars, from a year of changes occurring both at the coins and at the mint.
On June 13, 1768, Justyn Schröder is hired to replace the then mintmaster, Sylm, and it is his initials that appear on the entire issue of half-talars of this vintage. In the same year, the appearance of the semi-talars also changes. In place of the old portrait, a new type is introduced - with a king with a headband in his hair.
Silver, diameter 33.5 mm, weight 13.89 g.
