A nicely preserved piece with background damage typical of medals of the period.
The medal was prepared by one of the most distinguished medalists of the 17th century, Sebsatian Dadler.
Obverse: baby Jesus in the clouds, holding a royal apple, in the rim the legend:

Reverse: Scene of the Birth of Jesus and the arrival of the Three Wise Men with gifts, surrounded by legend:
