One of the rarest circulation coins of the interwar period.
A five-penny coin with the Banner minted with the deep stamp.
The issue of this variety was very small. It was quickly discontinued in the early period for technological reasons (wedging on the stamp with the side of the Banner).
A nice piece, with preserved luster and in patina. On the banner side we see no signs of cleaning, the NGC rating of "cleaned" is probably due to the visible rubbing streak at the right eagle paw and the scratch below the date. We do not notice any other comments on the condition of this item. An attractive piece of a rare coin.
