One of the ornaments among the Partition period coins offered in this auction.
A superb piece of a very rare vintage of the Partition period triplets. A yearbook minted in one of the lowest mintages, in which another stage of russification of Polish coins takes place - the inscription POLISH and the coat of arms of our country disappear. Here in type by change, with initials IP (instead of letters MW).
Very rare both in the version intended for circulation and in the form of a new minting of the Warsaw Mint, like the present piece.
This is confirmed by both individual quotations over the years and high catalog valuations (R5 in Iger, or five times the valuation of new mintages from 1827-1831 in Berezowski's price list).
Beauty confirmed by the impressive PCGS listing, especially for a copper of the period.
