Exquisite piece.
The first, and longest circulating, vintage of the Partition period two-zloty coin, in an unprecedented state of preservation.
Natural, celadon, with intense luster and beautiful detail.
The first type of the Partitions' two-dollar coins, minted without a collar. A type that wore out faster in circulation, due to the lack of the characteristic raised rim.
Important for typological collections of coins of the period, as this is the only vintage of two-zloty coins on which this type of portrait of the tsar and eagle appears (changed as early as 1817).
Very rarely seen in this condition.
