Good condition. Author's handwritten dedication to unnamed Tadeusz Kwiatkowski, recipient's own signature. Rips on the circumference, a fragment of the spine of the circumference glued with paper, very good condition inside. Printed on the circumference by "Drukarnia 'Progress'". "Polish Bibliography 1901-1939" does not note this edition. Third edition of Andrzejewski's famous novel, originally published in "Straight from the Bridge" (1937). "The Order of the Heart" won the poll of "Literary News", also brought the author the Young Academy of Literature Award and the reputation of a Catholic writer. Much space was devoted to the novel by C. Milosz in "Captive Mind."
