Wraps yellowed, last page somewhat dusty. The sale of the volume was to contribute to the fund for the expansion of Sanok's Mickiewicz Mound (erected on top of Park Mountain in 1898). Construction was carried out by residents and students of Sanok schools. The work, which lasted until 1910, "proceeded irregularly due to the dwindling enthusiasm of the middle school students" (Wikipedia). The structure still exists today, with a stone pedestal on top with the inscription "To Adam Mickiewicz 1798-1898".
