M. B. Lepecki (1897-1969) - traveler, writer, publicist, infantry major of the Polish Army. In 1931-1935 he served in the General Inspectorate of the Armed Forces, where he was adjutant to Marshal Jozef Pilsudski.
K. Krynski a.k.a. Waga (1900-1944) - Polish avant-garde painter, participant in the 1920 war, reserve captain. During the Warsaw Uprising, commander of the Third Battalion of the Stefan Okrzei Uprising Socialist Military Detachment. Died in the fighting in Wola, mortally wounded at the barricade at Wolska and Mlynarska Streets. [Wikipedia].
