Bibliophilic printings rebound at the graphic design plant of the Agricultural Printing and Book Depository in Poznan, under the direction of. Jan Kuglin with an antiqua specially designed for this edition by Stanislaw Jezynski. The work decorated with full-page color woodcuts by Zbigniew Pronaszko (1885-1958), one of the leading avant-garde artists, co-founder of Formism. Pronaszko illustrated many of Zegadłowicz's works, adapting the formal character of the graphics to the mood of the poetic works. The text of the "Beskid Songs" is preceded by an introduction by the typographer - Jan Kuglin (1892-1972), director of the Agricultural Circulation Printing House, an excellent printer and bibliophile. This edition was specially prepared by the Polish Bibliophile Society for the General National Exhibition in Poznan, where, among other things, the greatest achievements of typography and the reborn Republic were presented. In 1930 the book was also shown at an exhibition of the world's most beautiful books at London's British Museum. Rare. Lit. by M.
