ZAGÓRSKI, Coins of old Poland 1845 - COMPLETE in very nice condition

add Your note
Lot description Show orginal version

An excellent piece of one of the earliest Polish numismatic catalogs, published in 1845, in the original early bookbinding, most likely from the period of the catalog's publication.

The interior is preserved in more than average good condition, as with this edition in particular the plates are often with pronounced iron efflorescence, while here the whole is nice and clean. Sides of the block stained red. Half-leather binding with slipcase, with natural good appearance appropriate to the period of use and not requiring bookbinding corrections.

Provenance: Stefach Stuchecki, former seal with coat of arms and signature.

External format 22 x 26 cm.
