Only a few people know that Rafal Olbinski (painter - one of the few Poles who have achieved spectacular success in New York) also writes short stories. "12 short stories" is a collection of Olbinski's never-before-published texts, miniature, fairy-tale stories, saturated with the same atmosphere for which the artist's paintings are known. Here, the impossible arises from the possible, and java and dream intertwine into one reality. Many of these miniatures surprise with humor, others with a bitter, though always poetic, ending. Each of the stories is combined with an image. Story and illustration comment on each other in this beautiful book.
