Kazimierz Chlędowski (1843-1920) was a Polish writer, memoirist, cultural researcher, satirist, cultural historian, storyteller and popularizer of Italian culture. He was also an official of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and a minister in the cabinet of Clary and Wittek in Imperial Austria. Chlędowski mainly wrote novels of manners, detective stories and satirical works.
