ThePolish National School [Batignolles School, Batignolles School, Batiniol School] - a Polish high school established in 1842 in the Batignolles district of Paris, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, on the initiative of activists of the Polish émigré community there [Scientific Aid Society, Council of Founders of the Society for the National Education of Polish Children, Association of Fathers of Polish Families in Exile] and on the personal initiative of General Józef Dwernicki.
Polish Democratic Society -an émigréorganizationformed in Paris on March 17, 1832 by, among others, Casimir Pulaski and Jan Nepomucen Janowski. One of the most important political parties of the Great Emigration.
