"The night before last, almost all of Warsaw was in the grip of rebel troops. At the Belvedere, the President of the Republic and the government were defended against the attacks of the mutineers by the Yellow Officer Cadet School, which was faithful to its oath.
ATTACK ON BELVEDERE. At 1:30 a.m. in the afternoon, the artillery battle intensified and the rebellious troops moved to attack the cadet positions. A short bayonet fight ensued around the fortifications [...]"
