A colorful memoir describing life in the Stanislaus era and the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Contains a whole gallery of family portraits and historical figures (Kosciuszko, Dabrowski, Rev. Jozef Poniatowski) whom the author met personally. These memoirs are a valuable glimpse into the panorama of the turbulent times in which she lived.
