Set of six pieces of rare patriotic bricks, 1918 emigrant issue.
All with original gum, two dollars with a vertical fold mark on the edge of the left margin, otherwise states of preservation without remarks.
The set is notable for the fact that two pieces are noticeably larger in format than the other four.
The Executive Committee of the National Department announced a patriotic campaign entitled. "Outreach to the Fatherland on May 3, 1918."
The purpose of the campaign was to raise funds for:
- Securing the soldiers of the Polish Army
- Polish Army Aid Society named after Helena Paderewska
- National purposes - "At the disposal of Master Ignacy Paderewski".
The dimensions of the stamp bricks are: 55 x 70 mm ($2 and $5), 50 x 65 mm ($10, $25, $50 and $100).
A rare denomination set of an interesting issue.
