Badge of KOP - Border Protection Corps with earlier eagle of 1919 pattern. Badge made in S. Reising's factory. Approved in 1930, so already after the introduction of the new eagle pattern in 1927. The eagle is therefore non-regulatory but the same as placed on border posts in the borderlands. Perhaps the badge was made on special order because the eagle has the standard silver-plated mounting whiskers on the reverse as it was made and they are one color with the back of the badge. The eagle also has wear marks. Silver plated tombstone, dimensions 50 x 34 mm. Cap correct signed with a diameter of 25 mm. Condition of preservation very good.
